The Toy Shop launches ‘Cruise Along Tours’

The team at Sydney based, Marine Riley (‘The Toy Shop’), have just released their latest ‘Cruise Along Tour’ dates and destinations for 2019. These ever-popular tours to amazing destinations allow boat owners to achieve lifelong goals and dreams of taking their boat, family and friends to beautiful locations along the east coast of Australia under the guidance of an experienced off-shore team who do all the planning, navigation and private one on one tuition throughout the tour.

Being part of a small group of private motor yachts traveling together allows boat owners to be independent but not alone, whilst traveling to stunning coral islands such as Lady Musgrave island, Lizard Island and the Great Barrier Reef to the north and Wilsons Promontory, Flinders Island and other island chains of the Bass Strait and Tasmania to the south.

With safety always paramount on each tour, the itinerary is always flexible as the convoy only travels during the day and never travels on days where there is bad weather predicted. There is always great comfort in knowing that help is only 100m away should any problem arise.

The great thing about these “Cruise Along Tours” is you don’t need previous off-shore experience, as education, training, practice and guidance is all part of the package.

The first tour for 2019 will be to Wilsons Promontory and the beautiful and untouched Bass Strait island chains and scenic anchorages along the way. This 14 day tour leaving on the 21st of January is suitable for couples and families as the days at sea will be short and there will be plenty of time to enjoy each destination from beach bonfires to snorkeling, fishing and exploring rivers and creeks by tender.

The second cruise of the year is to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, leaving on the 1st June for 14 days, leaving the cold weather of Sydney behind to cruise to the stunning Great Barrier Reef. This tour allows boats to be left at either Hamilton Island or Airlie Beach, so they can be enjoyed over the winter period. And for owners who wish to travel further north, leaving on the 16th of August for 2 weeks, is a trip from the Whitsundays to Cairns and Lizard Island and return to the Whitsundays.

The final tour of 2019 will be from the Whitsundays back to Sydney, which will be a short 7 day trip. This tour will be to bring all the boats that traveled north earlier in the year, back to Sydney.

All ‘Cruise Along Tours’ are open to any brand and style of motor yacht, that is well serviced and maintained and is capable of cruising comfortably at 20 knots.

Marine Riley guarantees a great time and memories which will last forever.
