Introducing the Horizon E56 XO

Introducing the Horizon E56 XO

With the high demand for a sports style motor yacht Horizon Australia has worked closely with the Horizon Group in Taiwan for over 12 months to create a luxurious sport style yacht perfect for the Australian market.

The design has developed from the Horizon E56 model which has taken the world by storm since its introduction to the Horizon range in 2013 with over 20 of the models built and delivered to clients all over the world, with 5 models already cruising the Australian waterways!

The fly bridge of the popular E56 model has been removed to create a sleek stylish sports yacht that still provides a spacious and luxurious vessel but with a new fresh interior design and alfresco entertaining areas.

The XO is powered by economical Twin C12 Acert 705hp diesel engines and the hull has been reinforced for future sea keeper gyro installation.

A comprehensive Raymarine navigation package has been fitted to the vessel as well the wireless remote Yacht Controller making the sporty vessel easy to berth and manoeuvre no matter what your boating experience may be.

The XO has been meticulously designed from the water line up, the gunnel height has even been reduced to offer a new sleeker look. Other options include new roof lines with a targa top supporting the radar, satellite domes, new fishing and BBQ cockpit module, Hi Lo platform with room for a tender or Jet Ski, front bow table and seating also incorporating a sun bed and numerous other design features.

The galley has been moved to the aft of the vessel with a hopper window and sliding door which opens the boat completely up to the aft deck entertaining area, which includes a BBQ, sink, 30kg per day icemaker, live fish/ bait tank, fishing rod lockers and storage, large cold chest as well as a large dining area.

The port side galley & breakfast bar leaves room for abundance of storage space. The galley includes Corian bench tops, floors , a full height upright fridge and freezer, quality SMEG convection oven and cook top that would keep the most concerning chef content. There is even room for a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher so you can spend more time entertaining and less time cleaning up.

A large Hi/Lo 50” TV is matched with a BOSE entertainment unit so you can watch your favourite movie in cinema quality. The 50” TV can be seen from the galley or the large U-shaped couch/dining area, which features a Hi/Lo table that transforms the area from a dining area into a double bed for the extra guests you may have on board.

A comfortable helm for two is forward starboard with a Raymarine  package with a clever design featuring large  colour displays for all your Navigation, auto pilot, chain counter and gauges which are all within arm’s reach. The model also includes two cameras in the engine room and one at the rear deck for extra safety.

A fishing sounder module has been fitted for those who enjoy catching the odd big fish and the vessel has  been pre wired for FLIR, AIS and more so if the new owners ever decide they want to upgrade later the hard work is already completed.

The forward VIP cabin design and head has been replicated from the E56, but the starboard bunk cabin has now been redesigned to fit two single beds side by side instead of cross over bunks.

The Master stateroom has undergone a makeover with the head now moved to the starboard side of the entrance and a large robe on the port side as you enter the stateroom.

The large king size bed is centred in the full beam stateroom with a large day bed on the starboard side, the perfect place to curl up with a book, or watch the world float by through the large windows which allow an abundance of light into the room. The port side offers large cupboard space for all your personal belongs and even more storage has been designed under the stairwell.

Heading back outside to the cockpit a 22” TV has been fitted outside so you can watch the TV whilst entertaining guests or even watch the latest sporting match while catching that fish for dinner. The access couldn’t be easier down the teak stairwell to the Hydraulic swim platform and the perfect size lock up boot for wet toys, fishing/ diving gear or even crab pots.

Moving forward to the bow a very clever sunbed and dining table on the bow of the vessel which is an amazing feature, there is even speakers mounted in the bow so you can enjoy a drink with friends whilst listening to your favourite music. A search light on the bow has been fitted for more effective lighting in an emergency or for late night moorings in the dark.

The front seating and table area is a very popular asset in which will be a popular feature among other boat builders after seeing it introduced by Horizon.
Horizon have teamed up with Ultra Anchors and we have specified a 45kg Ultra anchor which will hold the vessel in place in the most undesirable conditions for absolute piece of mind.

The Horizon Group are great listeners, they listen to their dealers and customer feedback, taking in suggestions on design and have now incorporated them into the new XO making the vessel a functional yet economical motor yacht.

The XO will be making her worldwide debut at the Sanctuary Cove boat show in May.
