For boaties who want stylish polarised shades but also need bi-focals, Ugly Fish will have its latest bi-focal polarised sunglasses at the 50th Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show.
Three new styles of the stylish bi-focals will be at the Show, which opens on Thursday week 1 July and runs until Monday 5 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Now you can not only eliminate glare while you’re on the water but also bait a hook or read the fine print in your Sunday newspaper!
These cool looking shades come in +1.50, +2.00 and +2.50 powers strategically positioned to come into effect only when you need it, and the addition of new Eclipse, Frost and Magma models bring the total choice to seven.
If you are looking into open space the bi-focal part of the lens doesn’t come into play, but when you look down to tie a knot or check your GPS location, it enables you to see all those objects clearly.
The bi-focal lens is infused into the whole lens, not clipped on, so people will hardly know you are wearing bi-focals.
Ugly Fish offers bi-focals in seven different styles including the ever-popular aviator-style Blizzard, and all are available in plastic or aluminium frames and smoke or brown lens options.
Spring loaded hinges are a standard feature in the aluminium frames for extra comfort and a firm fit.
The 50th Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show runs from Thursday 1 July to Monday 5 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Opening hours are 10am to 9pm daily except Sunday, when the show closes at 7pm, and Monday when it closes at 8pm.
To save serious money on tickets, buy them online at www.melboureboatshow.com.au, and you could also win one of “50 prizes for 50 years” as a special online-only celebration of the Show’s half century.
