Point Nepean National Park, draft master plan released

27 July 2010

Point Nepean National Park (VIC) is a special place with extraordinary natural and built landscapes
and a rich history. The vision for Point Nepean National Park is to provide a diversity of opportunities for visitors while further protecting and enhancing areas of National and State significance.

Parks Victoria has prepared a draft master plan that describes how the park will evolve, through
new uses and services for visitors, the changing character of precincts such as the Quarantine Station
and how this may be achieved.

All members of the community are invited to comment on the draft master plan until 23 August 2010. An Information Day will be held at Point Nepean National Park on Sunday 8 August 2010.
