Club Marine’s popular Club Kids Fun Photo Contest is approaching its closing date, and Australia’s leading provider of recreational boating insurance is making a last call to all amateur photographers to submit their photos for a chance at the major prize.
Focussing on kids having fun on, in or around the water, the Club Kids Fun Photo Contest has received thousands of photos from proud parents and families all across Australia and New Zealand since it launched in October 2009, with more coming in every day. Along the way, hundreds of families have logged on to the Club Marine website to see and share their photos.
Fuelling the popularity of the contest has been the range of fantastic prizes awarded to the skilled and/or lucky entrants. Since the launch of the contest, five photographers have won the Big W/Escape with ET ‘Essential Explorer’s Equipment’ prize pack, valued at $400. And a total of 15 runners-up have received a Big W/Escape with ET ‘Tried and True Tackle Kit’, valued at over $200.
But as the contest moves into its final stage, contestants are focussed on the Grand Prize – a four-day trip for two to Andrew ‘ET’ Ettingshausen’s Escape Sportfishing and Wilderness Lodge on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria, including flights, transfers, lodging and fully-guided fishing tours.
Greg Fisher, Club Marine CEO, says the competition has captured the imagination of Australian and New Zealand boaties. “The online albums have grown throughout the competition to become more than a collection of photos; they are a showcase of all that the nautical lifestyle has to offer for families and young children,” he said.
Club Marine’s Club Kids Fun Photo Contest closes on September 1, 2010, with the winner being announced in early October. To learn how to submit your entry, visit: www.clubmarine.com.au.
